Updated Enforcement Times for School Zone Cameras

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The City of Charlottesville is implementing updated enforcement times for the school zone cameras. Effective immediately, cameras will monitor for speeding violations at the following times:

Summit Elementary and Johnson Elementary Schools

7:30 - 8:30 am
2:00 - 3:00 pm

Buford Middle School

8:00 - 9:00 am
2:45 - 3:45 pm

These changes aim to reduce speeding and ensure a safer environment for students, families, and other drivers. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously and observe posted speed limits in school zones at all times.
