City of Charlottesville to Recognize National Law Day of Action on May 1st

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, attorneys in Charlottesville and across the nation will unite in observance of the National Law Day of Action. This annual event reaffirms our shared commitment to the rule of law and the principles of constitutional democracy.

This year’s theme, “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One,” serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold the ideals laid out in our Constitution and to preserve the integrity of the legal profession.

The City of Charlottesville invites all members of the legal community to join together for a public renewal of the attorney’s oath. The event will be held at Noon on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at the Charlottesville Circuit Court.
