Traffic Advisory: Utility Construction – Copley Road
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – UVA will be closing Copley Road and Coogan Way between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM facilitating the installation of new underground utilities. This will be a nightly closure beginning August 3 and is expected to run through August 18 (weather permitting).
Expect a temporary road closure and detours to be in place during these times. Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid the area if possible. Please follow posted detours, respect on-site traffic control personnel, and exercise all due caution while in the vicinity. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
