Trash and Recycling Collection Weather Delay Update
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – As a result of last week’s weather event, curbside trash and recycling collections were delayed and/or missed. Due to the volume involved, all normal collections have resumed this week, and any overflow trash that may have accumulated from last week's missed collection will also be collected this week.
The City and our contracted curbside recycling collection provider are also currently working to collect missed recycling from the impacts of the weather event last week. We apologize for the inconvenience.
