In-Person Early Voting Begins Friday, September 20, 2024
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – In-Person Early Voting for the 2024 November General Election begins Friday, September 20, and runs through Saturday, November 2.
Early Voting will take place in the Office of Voter Registration during regular business hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours will be extended until 6:00 PM on Thursday evenings. The Voter Registration Office will also be open on two Saturdays, October 26 and November 2, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is located at 120 7th St NE, City Hall Annex, First Floor.
Curbside voting will be available for qualified voters, such as those with disabilities and voters who are over 65.
Any voter who wishes to request a mail ballot may do so by submitting a Vote by Mail Application to the Voter Registration Office by Friday, October 25 at 5:00 PM.
Registration for the November General Election closes on Tuesday, October 15.
All polling locations will be open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
