City Manager to Hold Community Budget Forum on January 23
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The City of Charlottesville invites you to attend the City Manager Community Budget Forum on Tuesday, January 23rd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Carver Recreation Center (233 4th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903) This will be an interactive budget experience and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with City Manager Sam Sanders as well as leaders and subject matter experts from different departments throughout the City regarding the budget. We will kick off with a brief presentation from City Manager Sanders, followed by an invitation to visit different stations based on our Strategic Plan Framework and managed by City employees. Community members are encouraged to ask questions and provide prioritization input and will have the chance to submit questions to the City via QR code or written on paper that are not answered during the Forum. Answers to these questions will be posted on the City of Charlottesville’s Budget page of the website.
