Spring 2023 Free Recycling and Disposal Events
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Rivanna Solid Waste Authority (RSWA) will host its spring special collections for household hazardous waste and amnesty days at the Ivy Material Utilization Center, 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Events are FREE for Charlottesville, Scottsville, and Albemarle County residents. Registration is not required.
This special collection is a great opportunity to rid homes of hazardous waste, like pesticides and cleaners, as well as household items like refrigerators, mattresses, broken furniture, and tires. These events are brought to the community with support from the County of Albemarle and the City of Charlottesville in partnership with RSWA.
