* UPDATE * Missing Adult Has Been Located Safely

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Police Department has announced that Herman Howard has been located and is safe.

[ORIGINAL RELEASE BELOW]

The Charlottesville Police Department is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing adult. Herman Howard walked away from home early this afternoon and has not been seen since that time. He was last seen on Trailridge Road heading toward Shamrock Road. Mr. Howard is 80 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130lbs and suffers from dementia. He was last seen wearing a tan hooded coat and blue jeans.

Please be on the lookout for Mr. Howard (pictured below) and contact the Charlottesville Police Department at 434-970-3280 if you have any information as to his current location.
