UPDATE: Loop de Ville Festival POSTPONED
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – UPDATE, 9/27/24: Due to the weather and flooding, the Loop de Ville Festival has been POSTPONED to Sunday, October 6th.
Loop de Ville is a full day of guided group hikes, walks, runs, and bike rides on the Rivanna Trail, followed by an after party and outdoor concert with food, live music, and fun activities.
As proud co-sponsors of a cheer station for this year's event, the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County will be stationed at the start/finish line at Rivanna River Company (1520 East High Street) to cheer on participants as they start and finish their journey. Be sure to stop by and say hello to City and County staff and pick up some free swag!
Event staff are looking for more volunteers to help cheer on hikers and bikers and hand out water at various points on the trail. As a thank-you for their time, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.
Don’t want to volunteer? Participate! All events are free, and you do not have to do a trail event to enjoy the concert. Your presence and enthusiasm along the way will help make a huge community event even more memorable.
