Nyeem Hill Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Today, in the Charlottesville Circuit Court, Judge Claude V. Worrell sentenced Nyeem Hill to five years in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The court suspended a portion of that time, leaving an active sentence to serve of 14 months.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Joe Platania stated, “the prosecution of individuals who possess firearms after having been prohibited from doing so is and will continue to be a priority of this office.” This case was prosecuted by Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Nina-Alice Antony.
