The Community Resource Hotline (Pathways) number is: 833-524-2904 and is available 9-5, Monday-Friday. Language interpretation is available.
The Community Resource Hotline (Pathways) is designed to provide emergency financial assistance for past due rent, mortgage, and/or utility bills to eligible households in Charlottesville. In partnership with the United Way of Greater Charlottesville, the City of Charlottesville disperses funds to help households experiencing financial hardship. In addition, operators may assist callers with referrals to other organizations for resources.
The Pathways Community Resource Hotline will return messages in the order they are received. We ask that callers leave one message because leaving multiple messages slows the ability to return calls.
Housing Navigation
Housing Navigation is a service provided by the Department of Human Services that assists City residents to access and secure stable and affordable housing. Housing Navigators tailor their approach so that each person may reach their fullest potential. This service includes:
- Case management during the search for housing options.
- Identifying housing leads based on income.
- May assist with covering application fees.
- Referring to other partners for resources.
- Housewarming basket for newly leased residents in the program.
- Access to a free 8-week healthy living/budgeting class.
