Booker T. Washington Park Pool Closed due to Broken Glass in the Pool


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Booker T. Washington Park Pool located a 1001 Preston Avenue is temporarily closed due to broken glass in the pool.  Per aquatic safety protocols, the pool is being drained and cleaned to ensure customer safety.  The pool was scheduled to be open August 17 – 18 but will now be closed over the weekend and will open on August 24 – 25.

During the closure, customers can utilize Onesty Family Aquatic Center or Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center.  Summer pool passes will be valid at both locations.
