Charlottesville’s Climate Protection Program is pleased to share that the Climate Action Plan (Link) has officially been adopted as an amendment to the City’s Comprehensive Plan! As we move from the planning phase into implementation, we need all hands on deck to reach our community’s emissions reduction goals.
Please save the date for a climate activation event Wednesday, March 15, 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Carver Recreation Center. City staff, community partners, and residents are invited to come together to network and share ideas for moving climate action forward. More details to come!
