Smith AFC Annual Maintenance Closure Notice
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Please be advised that Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC) will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance from July 26 through August 10, 2025.
This annual maintenance is an essential part of our commitment to providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility. It ensures:
- Water clarity and cleanliness
- Proper functioning of equipment
- Compliance with health and safety standards
- Prevention of costly, unexpected breakdowns
Alternate Facility Access:
During the closure, Smith AFC pass holders may access the following facilities:
- Carver Recreation Center
- Washington Park Pool
- Onesty Family Aquatic Center
Customer Service Availability:
Phone calls to Smith AFC will be forwarded and answered Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Smith AFC will reopen on Monday, August 11 at 7:00 AM, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
