Farmers in the Park Canceled for Wednesday, June 25 Due to Severe Weather
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Charlottesville Parks & Recreation has canceled Farmers in the Park on Wednesday, June 25 due to a forecast of extreme heat, high winds, and the potential for thunderstorms. The safety of our vendors, customers, and staff is our top priority.
If you have purchased a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share, please contact your provider directly for alternate pick-up instructions.
We encourage everyone to stay safe, limit time outdoors, and stay hydrated during this extreme weather.
Farmers in the Park will return next Wednesday at Pen Park from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, featuring seasonal produce, local meats, baked goods, and global flavors from over 20 local vendors.
Farmers in the Park proudly participates in Virginia Fresh Match, which doubles the value of SNAP/EBT purchases at the market. For more information, visit the market management tent.
