Sunday Sundown at Washington Park Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville Parks & Recreation’s Sunday Sundown event planned for today, Sunday, June 8 from 5-7pm at Washington Park has been cancelled due to the forecast of thunderstorms and flooding, which pose a risk to the safety of attendees and staff. Free swimming will still occur at Washington Park Pool while the weather allows. Please mark your calendars for our next Sunday Sundown event on Sunday, July 20 from 5-7pm.
Booker T. Washington Park Pool is located at 1001 Preston Avenue. Parking is available at the lot located next to the swimming pool or at the lower level of the park. For more information, please call 434-970-3260.
