Farmers in the Park Relocating to Pen Park for 2024 Season
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Farmers in the Park, which normally operates at Meade Park, will be moving to Pen Park for the 2024 season due to a turf restoration project at Meade Park. The turf restoration project is to repair and revitalize grass around the perimeter of Meade Park where the market normally operates. For the project to be efficient, foot traffic will need to be reduced so that the grass can properly grow over the course of several months.
Farmers in the Park will maintain the same hours, Wednesdays 3:00 – 7:00 PM beginning May 1st through September 25th.
Farmers in the Park is a producer-only market that hosts farmers, food vendors, and artisans. The market is now accepting applications. Please visit www.charlottesville.gov/citymarket or contact market management at citymarket@charlottesville.gov to apply.
