Turner, Sanders, and Fortin Plead Guilty to Felony Offenses
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Today in Charlottesville Circuit Court, three individuals pled guilty to felony offenses involving firearms and ammunition.
Alexzander Turner pled guilty to felony eluding, felony possession of ammunition after having been convicted of a felony, and misdemeanor hit and run for a July 2, 2024 incident occurring on Elliott Avenue. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 7, 2025 and faces up to 11 years in prison.
Richard Sanders pled guilty to possession of a machine gun for a June 13, 2024 incident occurring in Tonsler Park. He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 11, 2025. He faces the possibility of an overall prison sentence of 10 years.
Esteban Fortin pled guilty to felon in possession of a firearm for an August 22, 2024 incident occurring on Mason Street. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 9, 2025 and faces up to five years in prison.
