Toreke N. Barbour Pleads Guilty to Weapons Offenses

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Today in Charlottesville Circuit Court, Toreke N. Barbour pled guilty to several weapons offenses related to a September 16, 2024 incident occurring at City Hall and involving a City employee. The charges were: being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and brandishing a firearm. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM and faces up to seven years in prison. In addition to any sentence he receives on these charges, Mr. Barbour is also facing the possibility of an additional eight years in prison for a pending probation violation in the Charlottesville Circuit Court.
