REMINDER: City of Charlottesville Regulations on Signs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 19, 2024

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – As a reminder to residents, any sign placed on public property or City right-of-way will be removed.

For information on prohibited signs visit section: 4.11.4

For information on small temporary signs on private property visit section: 4.11.3.B.e

Feather and teardrop flags are prohibited City-wide on public and private property.

Complaints can be filed on MyCville or via the main public service phone line 434-970-3830.
