Traffic Advisory: Utility Work / Road Closures in the vicinity of the following locations:

      • Emmet Street / Stadium Road

      • Emmet Street / Jefferson Park Avenue

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – A permitted full road closure will be put in place on Emmet Street S. between Stadium Road and Jefferson Park Avenue beginning 06/09/2025 and extending through 08/15/2025. 

Additional flagging operations on Stadium Road will occur in conjunction with the implementation of the Emmet Street S. closure.

Please expect delays and avoid this area if possible. Follow posted detours and exercise due caution while this work progresses throughout the summer months.
