In an effort to assure accessibility to the City's programs, services, and activities, the ADA Advisory Committee meets quarterly to review its programs and services. The ADA Coordinator staffs this committee which consists of representatives from various City Departments and persons with disabilities from the community. The City of Charlottesville has engaged Precision Infrastructure Management, a consulting firm with extensive experience in ADA-related projects, to perform, manage, and draft an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan with close City support.
2025 ADA Transition Plan Update Document
Thank you to all members of the community and internal department staff for taking the time to review the first draft produced of the ADA Transition Plan Update document in April 2025. All feedback has been reviewed that was sent to the ADA Coordinator. An updated document is linked below that responds to some of the input provided internally and by the community. The PDF below has been properly remediated, and we have also provided the document that certifies its accessibility for review.
