In partnership with the Local Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), the City is offering assistance to residents for a variety of home energy-saving improvements:
| Measure: | Incentive Amount: |
| Energy Star or Cold-Climate Heat Pump Installation | $1,000 |
| Heat Pump Water Heater Installation | $800 |
| Attic insulation and air sealing | $500 |
| Foundation insulation and air sealing | $500 |
| Wiring or electrical work to support above measures | $250 |
| Duct sealing | $250 |
| Energy Assessment reimbursement | $250 |
All households are eligible for up to $2,000 to support the above energy savings measures. These funds can be stacked with other local, state, federal, or utility-funded incentives. To access the program, the resident must first have a Home Energy Assessment (HEA) performed by LEAP or another certified contractor. After the energy assessment, residents will receive an estimate and proposal for any recommended improvements.
For more information on this program or to sign up for an energy assessment, contact LEAP through the Energy Resource Hub.
