PURPOSE: The City of Charlottesville, on behalf of the Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT), is soliciting proposals from qualified technology firms and/or service operators who can provide a software and necessary hardware services to operate a full-service, third-party operator solution. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged, but are not necessary, to address the multitude of services envisioned. Contractors unable to provide all project operations are encouraged to partner with subcontractors to propose capability for a complete turnkey solution.
