Propose to replace an existing 36” corrugated metal pipe (CMP) known as: QC123-QC000. Pipe to be replaced with 56 linear feet of 36” class III reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Pipe installation is to be performed per current City of Charlottesville and Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) standards and specifications.
The project will also include the installation of an outfall and grass channel, downstream of the pipe. The project will include the reconnection of an existing foundation drain from 1605 Cedar Hill Road to the new pipe and an existing small shrub on the property will be transplanted by the Contractor or a subcontractor of their choosing prior to construction, under direction of the City.
An existing concrete driveway at 1605 Cedar Hill Road will be demolished and replaced with an asphalt driveway per the enclosed specification. Project will include the replacement of driveway entrance and adjacent curb and gutter.
Award shall be based upon the lowest quote received from a responsive bidder. The quote shall be a lump-sum amount, per the pricing schedule included herein.
