This project consists of replacing multiple pieces of equipment in various City Schools. The new
equipment has been purchased by the City; the Contractor will be responsible for removing the existing equipment, transporting the new equipment from the City’s warehouse to the respective City School, and the installation of the new equipment. Each unit is complete with all components, accessories, required wiring and piping – including automatic flow control hose kits. Each unit is ready for installation. The new equipment is intended to fit into the space allocated for the current units and maintain code required clearances. Connection to existing ducting, electrical, and piping has been taken into account when determining equipment manufacture. Bidders are responsible for site review of the project and confirmation of the correct equipment configuration to match the required set up before installation. The Contractor shall remove existing valves/piping packages and shall replace them with new valves/piping packages. The systems shall be frozen as needed; draining of the systems shall be avoided. The Contractor shall make controls connections; the City will be responsible for programming the controls.
