The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish one term contract through competitive negotiation for the procurement of professional services (engineering planning, design and construction, and administrative services) for the City of Charlottesville (City). The term contract will include project types such as listed herein and other types as needed and requested. The successful Offeror will be required to provide complete design and consulting services for all services listed herein and for additional services as required by the City.

| Some City owned or maintained facilities will be temporarily and/or conditionally opened and available for site investigations and/or construction work. Based on recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Virginia Department of Health and the Thomas Jefferson Health District, all City staff, contractors and vendors must adhere to strict social distancing recommendations, wearing of face coverings, enhanced sanitizing procedures, and apply relevant workplace guidance and regulations from state and federal authorities.
