The City of Charlottesville is soliciting for an internet service provider to allow access and operation of all traffic signal infrastructure owned and maintained by Charlottesville’s Department of Public Works. The primary function of the internet service will be to allow communication and access from the City’s traffic control center to all traffic signal infrastructure such as communication systems, cameras, detection systems, video board, controllers, etc.

| Some City owned or maintained facilities will be temporarily and/or conditionally opened and available for site investigations and/or construction work. Based on recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Virginia Department of Health and the Thomas Jefferson Health District, all City staff, contractors and vendors must adhere to strict social distancing recommendations, wearing of face coverings, enhanced sanitizing procedures, and apply relevant workplace guidance and regulations from state and federal authorities.
