When are my child's games/practices?: Practice time slots are selected by the coach. Your coach will call and inform you about your practice/game schedule.

1. When can I register my team?: Contact Parks and Recreation to find out when you can register your team.

2. What does the team registration cover?

The cost of registration covers:

6 games and 8 practices
Equipment
Flag belt
Mouthpiece
NFL brand jersey

3. Do we have to provide our own balls to play with?: No. The Charlottesville Parks and Recreation athletic staff will provide balls for each game.

4. When are my child's games/practices?: Practice time slots are selected by the coach. Your coach will call and inform you about your practice/game schedule.

5. How do I get registered as a coach?: All interested coaches should email the Athletics program. You will need to attend the coach’s meeting.

6. Are scholarships available?: Yes, all families that live in the City of Charlottesville are eligible for the scholarship program through an application.

7. What size jersey should I get for my child?: Jerseys are available in youth or adult sizes. Please check the NFL Flag Football Jersey Chart (PDF) before marking down the size for your child.

8. What if there's inclement weather?: Call (434) 970-3593 to reach the Inclement Weather Hotline. Games canceled due to inclement weather are rescheduled by Charlottesville Parks & Recreation Athletics the day after the cancellation.
