Charlottesville City Offices will be closed Monday, May 27, 2024 in observance of Memorial Day. 

Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) 

Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will operate their Extended Lifeline Service.

City Trash and Recycling Services 

There will be no residential curbside trash or recycling collection on Memorial Day, May 27th. Service will resume on Tuesday, May 28th, one day behind, and the "sliding" schedule will complete on Saturday, June 1st.

The uptown and downtown business route will be provided one collection for trash and recycling on Memorial Day. This collection will begin at 7AM.
