CFD Responds to Virginia Ave Structure Fire, 13 Students Displaced
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Charlottesville Fire Department responded to and contained a single-building structure fire on Virginia Ave.
No injuries are reported. As a result of the fire, significant structural damage was incurred and 13 students have been displaced from their home.
CFD is still looking into the cause of the fire as this remains an active investigation.
