CPD Responds to Shooting on Prospect Avenue
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – On May 27 at approximately 10:40 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of 766 Prospect Ave.
Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was immediately transported to UVA Medical Center where he is currently listed in stable condition. The suspect is described as a thin, black male wearing dark clothing.
