CPD Obtains Warrants for Individual Related to Hardy Dr Shooting
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - CPD has obtained warrants for Nayquon Laymonte Steppe related to a shooting investigation that occurred on September 12, 2024 in the 800 block of Hardy Dr.
A residence and a vehicle were struck by gunfire during the incident. Steppe can be described as a 25-year-old black male, approximately 5'7" in height, weighing 175 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
Steppe has been charged with the following offenses:
- 18.2-51.2-Attempted Malicious Wounding
- 18.2-56 – Reckless Handling of Firearm
- 18.2-137 – Destruction of Property
