CPD Seeks Assistance Locating Suspect in Market St Shooting

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Police Department (CPD) is seeking assistance in locating Gustavo Junior Laurent in connection to a shooting that occurred in Market St on July 28, 2024.

Gustavo Junior Laurent is wanted for Malicious Wounding & Felon in Possession of a Firearm in connection to a shooting that occurred in Charlottesville on July 28, 2024 in the 100 block of Market St. Laurent should be considered ARMED if encountered.

If you have any information on the location of Laurent or this incident, please contact Crime Stoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000 to submit an anonymous tip.

Laurent is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
