CPD Seeks Assistance Locating Suspects and Vehicle in Hollys Diner Shooting

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Police Department (CPD) is seeking assistance in locating suspects and a vehicle in relation to a shooting that occurred on July 23, 2024 at Holly's Diner.

On Tuesday, July 23, at approximately 11:22 p.m., Charlottesville police officers responded to Holly’s Diner at 1221 E Market St for a shooting that had just occurred. One person was struck by gunfire and is expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries. CPD detectives have continued their investigation into this incident and are seeking to identify the persons of interest in this release.

Police are also looking to identify the owner of the attached vehicle. Detectives believe the vehicle is a mid-2000’s Honda Accord.
