New Fire Station to be Completed March 2025
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Fire Department is building a new fire station that will replace Station One, located at the 250 bypass.
Fire Chief Michael Thomas stands at the future site of Station One on the Charlottesville 250 Bypass.

"The original Station One building has served this City well and now the time has come for a much needed upgrade. Station One will be built from the ground up to accommodate the 21st Century needs of the fire service and our growing city. Construction is projected for completion in March 2025.
Our firefighters and staff will officially move in May 2025."
