The Contractor will provide all construction services related to the addition and renovation of the existing Buford Middle School. Project involves demolition, new construction, renovation and associated site work on an occupied middle school site. Construction will have to be phased to accommodate the full functioning of the middle school throughout the process.

A pre-bid conference has been scheduled for February 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Buford Middle School Auditorium at 1000 Cherry Avenue. Charlottesville VA 22903. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. Bidders will have to check in at the front desk and obtain a visitor’s pass.
Bidders not attending the pre-bid conference shall acknowledge on the bid form that they have or have not visited and inspected the site. Site visits can be coordinated with advance notification by contacting Michael Goddard, Project Manager, The City of Charlottesville (434) 970-3977.
