CPD Makes Arrest in Market St Homicide Case
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On Oct 24, 2023 at approximately 8:15 a.m., Reginald Eugene Lindsay Jr. of Gordonsville was taken into custody for 2nd Degree Murder.
This arrest is a result of the investigation into the homicide of Danny Hall in the early morning of Oct 14th, 2023 in the 300 block of E Market St in the City of Charlottesville. Lindsay was taken into custody with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, the Virginia State Police Division 2 Tactical Team, and the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail (ACRJ).
CPD would like to give a special thanks to the Virginia State Police 3A task force who were instrumental in this case.
