Downtown Safe Halloween Returns to Ting Pavilion Saturday, October 28
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The City of Charlottesville's annual Downtown Safe Halloween Festival will take place on Saturday, October 26 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Ting Pavilion. This fun, family-friendly event features performances by Brushwood’s School of Dance and magic show by Freckles ‘n Friends, DJ, a costume contest, photo booth, a giant slide & obstacle course, games, make & take crafts, and much more! There will be over twenty fun attractions and activity stations in all!
The event concludes with safe Trick or Treating on the Downtown Mall from 4:00pm – 4:30pm. The event is free and open to the public!
Event Schedule 2:00 PM – Event Starts/Registration for Costume Contest
2:15 PM – Ages 1-6 (individual) Costume Contest
2:30 PM – Brushwood’s School of Dance
3:00 PM – Ages 7-12 (individual) Costume Contest
3:15 PM – Groups Costume Contest
3:30 PM – Magic Show by Freckles n’ Friends
4:00 PM – Pavilion Events Conclude
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Safe Trick-or-Treating The year's event is presented by Charlottesville Parks & Recreation in conjunction with Friends of Charlottesville Downtown.
