Inactive Controlled Explosive Removed at Long St Construction Site
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – To protect the public safety of our citizens, CPD worked with local and federal partners to remove an inactive controlled explosive found on a construction site located on 1315 Long St.
The bypass located at this address was blocked off for a short time to ensure the safety of our citizens. The device has since been removed; there is no threat or traffic impact on local businesses or residents.
