Join our webinar series to talk about community priorities and goals, particularly related to issues of equity and affordability
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The City of Charlottesville announces a series of opportunities to participate in Cville Plans Together, the community process for updating the citywide Comprehensive Plan.
The City is working in partnership with a consultant team on a two-year effort to update the city’s Comprehensive Plan (including creation of a focused Affordable Housing Plan) and complete a re-write of the zoning ordinance.
This process, branded Cville Plans Together, is kicking off with a virtual conversation series and webinars, as the project team begins to talk with the community about priorities and goals for the future, particularly related to issues of equity and affordability.
There are three options for dates to attend webinars (5/20 at 5:00 PM, 5/23 at 10:00 AM, and 5/26 at noon) and five options for small-group discussions (5/21 at 6:00 PM, 5/22 at noon, 5/27 at 6:00 PM, 5/29 at noon, and 6/4 at 7:00 PM). The webinar presentation will be recorded and available online. Registration is required for both small-group discussions and webinars.
Input will also be gathered through an online survey, which will be available on the website from May 20-June 10. There is also a toll-free number available; interested parties can call (833) 752-6428 to hear a project overview and provide comments.
More information about all activities can be found at cvilleplanstogether.com/stay-involved.
