The Minority Business Commission shall serve as an advisory body for the Charlottesville City Council pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-1405. The Commission shall also serve as a liaison between the Office of Economic Development and the Department of Finance’s Procurement Division and the citizens of the City of Charlottesville.
