May is National Bike Month, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try.
Update: National Bike to Work Week 2020 will take place September 21-27, 2020. Bike to Work Day is Tuesday, September 22!
While in-person events are canceled in May, we encourage you to walk, bike, and roll on your own to celebrate Bike Month 2020. Staying active (while practicing social distancing) can improve energy levels, keep our body healthy, and reduce stress - essential in times like these.
Walking, running, and biking outside is safest in uncrowded areas. Keep at least 6’ of distance (10-20’ recommended) from others!
