The Charlottesville Affordable Housing Fund (CAHF) was established in 2007 by the City of Charlottesville to provide a flexible funding mechanism for housing-related projects.

Charlottesville Redevelopment & Housing Authority
CRHA is a public authority, separate from the City of Charlottesville, that manages 376 units of public housing for the exclusive use of low income households, seniors, and disabled individuals. Additional housing subsidies are provided through Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers and the Charlottesville Supplemental Rental Assistance Program.
